Dave Gilkes started his career as an apprentice bricklayer and before long was running a small bricklaying team of his own. After working in the Pilbara in a wide variety of construction roles, he relocated with his family to the South West where he completed a diploma to become a registered builder.
In 2019 he gained his building licence and starting Gilkes Building Solutions. In 2024, Dave and the team were honoured to be recognised by the Master Builders Association (MBA) with a building excellence award.
